Have your cake and eat it: Welcome to 'Have your cake and eat it',I'm Ann Hunt,a virgining Nutritionist.I am currently working on my Public Health Nutrition MSC thesis. Have your cake and eat it is all about how to eat well, good food and enjoying it.It is my take on healthy eating and the practicalities of achieving it in a normal everyday situation. Most people know what they should be doing to live a healthy lifestyle, however, most people have busy lives, long working hours and are not necessarily an experienced cook.It is not my aim with this site to overwhelm people with facts and figures but to assist in providing achievable ways to enhance your current diet. Food has always played a significant role in my life, from baking with mum every Saturday, nan's mince pies at Christmas to making flapjacks in the first H.E. lesson at school. More recently the birth of my children and their specific nutritional needs, led me to my food epiphany and the realisation of its true importance in our lives. This coupled with my newly felt need to be giving something back and to cease being just a cog in a corporate wheel, led to the birth of Ann the Nutritionist.
